He stepped into the elevator and pressed 14. As he saw the numbers going up, his heart seemed to ache, break, and sink deep down into his stomache.

The door opened on the 14th floor, but he couldnt step out. He was frozen. The door closed again and went to the 16th floor. An Indian woman stepped in, "What floor sir?"

She clicked 14 and when the door opened again, he felt paralyzed. "Sir this is floor 14, you go out?"
